Happy Thanksgiving

We went to Utah for a week and a half for Thanksgiving. My sisters and I met in St George for the weekend before Thanksgiving. It was great to get together. We haven't had a chance to do that in two years. The kids have so much fun playing together but I pity the folks who stayed on the floor below us. It was warm enough to swim. Utah is so funny. People think nothing of wearing their coats to the pool and then swimming. At least I didn't think anything of it.

I really enjoyed seeing the whole family. We had Thanksgiving dinner with my mom and then the next day with Mike's mom and brother and my mom too. She is doing pretty well. She just found out that she will need to do chemotherapy after all. It was disappointing to hear this but she remains strong as always. My sister and I were able to go to one of her appointments with her. Everyone on that floor of the hospital is amazing. Every doctor, nurse, tech, receptionist was so kind and so helpful. I was able to ask a lot of questions and I feel confident that my mom is in good hands. I plan to go back to Utah a lot to be with her. Thank you to all who have expressed your support.
