I haven't blogged in so long. I've been busy avoiding homework so I haven't had the chance. Katie has been extra entertaining lately so I wanted to record it before I forget. You know how sometimes people tell you the hilarious things their kids say and you're like, um ya...hilarious. Well, you really will find this funny. Possibly. Unless you're just bored. Oh well, here goes. Tommy was sick yesterday. He started feeling better toward the end of the day so we took him out to get a treat. We started backing out of the driveway and Katie said, "Oh, so when you're sick you don't have to wear a seat belt? That's really cool". My five year old is a teenager.
Katie was pretty tired when she was getting ready for bed tonight. She was struggling to get her shirt over her head. She got frustrated and said, "I hate this shirt, we need to give it to someone with a smaller head!"
Mike has been getting the kids into NASCAR lately. Tommy picked Jimmy Johnson as his driver a long time ago. Good pick Tommy! Mike's favorite driver is Carl Edwards. I heard Mike explaining Katie's pick to his brother yesterday. She consistently roots for Kyle Busch when he is driving the M&M car. The only exception to this is when Carl Edwards is driving the Subway car, then she will root for Carl. This is the same little girl who told me on President's day that she likes Abraham Lincoln the best because his name has "ham" in it.
