I hope everyone had a nice holiday. We did. We were hoping to go out to Utah for Easter but we each took a turn with strep throat instead. Since my mom spent all of last week in the hospital with a blood clot in her lung, we didn't want to risk bringing any illness her way. She is home now and doing better but she is still having a hard time. I hope we can recover here so we can be with her soon.
The kids set up this lovely little scene for the Easter Bunny's enjoyment. They did a great job on their eggs this year. I love family traditions. I also love that through all of the egg hunts and candy, they still know why we celebrate Easter.

Here's Katie gearing up for the egg hunt at our neighborhood park. It was much warmer this year than it was last year.
Egg hunting is a serious business. Just ask Tommy.

We ordered this tadpole several weeks ago. Tommy has been so excited for it to get here. Now that he's here...well he's really not all that exciting. I think when he starts to change into a frog, we'll all start paying attention again. I had Tommy point to him to show how tiny he is.
